Family Judy is my wife, help meet, and faithful partner. She visits with me and participates with me in church social functions. She has been dearly loved and respected in every ministry in which we have been involved.

We have one daughter, married to Jeff Davoll and the mother of our four fantastic grand children (ages 11,13,15,16). They have served in church ministry (youth pastor and pastor for fifteen years). They are currently on Pre-field ministry with going to Ecuador SA. They anticipate leaving for language school in Costa Rica in August.

College Tennessee Temple Graduation date 1964

Major: Bible and English Minor Speech and Psychology Degree BA

Seminary Temple Baptist Theological Seminary Graduation date 1966

Degree Master of Religious Education

Graduate degree Doctor of Philosophy degree from BJU awarded in 1974

During my school days I served as a pastor at a church in the Mountains of Tennessee and as an assistant camp director and a youth pastor when we were in South Carolina. I taught at BJU while working on my doctorate and then at TTU. At TTU I started their high school and served as its administrator. I was youth director at Lakewood Baptist Church for two years before going to the Highland Park Baptist Church to serve as Director of Christian Education.

In 1974 Dr. Bob Gray asked me to come to Jacksonville to start Trinity Baptist College. In 1979 I moved t0 Atlanta to become Executive Vice President of the Baptist University of America. During my tenure at both schools, I traveled extensively preaching in more that 100 churches a year.

In 1983 Judy and I moved to Schroon Lake NY where I became pastor of the Mountainside Bible Chapel. During my nearly 20 years there, Judy and I were privileged to visit missionaries in fourteen countries and have some ministry with them. I retired from Mountainside in 2002 because of some continuing health issues.

Since leaving Mountainside, I have worked with a number of churches. I began at Perth Bible Church in August of 2004 and became the interim pastor in September. When Pastor Todd was called as pastor, he and the deacons asked me if I could remain for a short time to aid in the transition. My role has changed several times but I am pleased to be a part of this ministry in whatever capacity that I can help.

I am also the Executive Director of the New York Association of Christian Schools. I do some Bible conference work as well.
